New Places, New People.

It may be a cliche thing to say but the its true, moving away for college can be scary thing. Especially when you’re moving thousands of miles away from home to a new place full of people you don’t know. Those first days can be the hardest, because not only are you starting all over again but now you don’t have the support group you had at home to be there when you need them, and that is why friends are so important. And William Penn is the place to make friends.

This week of welcome was a great way to get out of your comfort zone and connect with people from all over. People with different ideas and perspectives, people from different places and different cultures. William Penn is what makes this small corner of the world so vastly interesting and exciting! You’re bound to meet people from all over when you go to any college but what makes William Penn special is that it’s a much more personal setting, where you can actually get to know all these diverse individuals.=

The Week of Welcome was devoted to helping you connect with people while putting yourself out there and having some fun. Here are some pictures that I took that capture the fun and delight brought on by the activities.
